Great value for your money plus you can use other facilities for a low rate especially when they are related to fitness. You are using National federation facility which almost has everything.... Just needs electric plugs all over the room to make it easy to recharge your phone, everything else was so wonderful

A newly-built clean hotel with a staff that would go out of their way to assist you with late-night dinners, taxis, trains and anything you ask them for. Breakfast was generous with an array of local and western food. The owner was a well-read, pleasant gentleman who offered troves of knowledge on the country.

A brand new hotel with some disadvantages. A brand new place. Breakfast was quite good. Clean and nice place. If you go to the local restaurant, you will get a 10% discount on your check. Front desk was awesome and really helpful. Thank you so much!Minuses: There are several problems and disadvantages:1. If you going to pay with VISA/MASTER CARD be prepared to pay extra fee. So I wasn't expected it and had to pay more than the final price I saw on booking.com page.2. It is brand new hotel with electronic lock/keys but I get only one key while we were with my wife. It is not convenient.3. There is a SPA area with saunas and swimming pool. When I planned this trip, I wanted to go with my wife and there were no restrictions. Upon arrival I learnt that there is only men's time (from 14:00) and women's time (from 8:00 thru 14:00) so we were unable to go to SPA together. On the other hand, when I was in SPA at men's time I saw staff who was female. Also, most of the time the Turkish sauna was out of order (I saw it working only once during my week stay)4. Wi-Fi was awful and nightmare. It drops literally every minute so I wasn't able to talk via FaceTime and what ever.

This was a modern, spatial, and efficient hotel though it did not have much of the local touch. It was rather a western style chain hotel. Nevertheless, my stay was superb! The staff was extremely helpful and polite. Disadvantages: The swimming pool was a bit run down for this complex but still free of charge. However, for the sauna, also somewhat run down - the charge was too high, making it the most expensive sauna used in any hotel so far! However, nothing could spoil the magic of incredible Samarkand!

Cannot pretend it’s 5 star but its clean, staff are good. Rooms reasonably equipped although not all appear to have fridges or kettles. Good sized rooms ... very firm beds. All seem to have air con. But air con can be a little noisy . Pool not used but looks very clean.Breakfast plentiful but perhaps not to everyone’s taste. Quite readonably situated. Cannot comment on price as part of a package. Would have no qualms about staying again.
